1. Halo won me for xbox over ps2. Mario 64 won me over ps1.
2. Not likely, I have 0 interest in an android mobile game console.

I was a Nintendo fan and the N64 wasn't out yet.  I asked for an N64 assuming my favorite games would appear on it and it'd get the support the Gameboy, SNES, and NES did. My parents bought me a Playstation because it was the only one available. I own and like some N64 games, but man. It's like a dodged a bullet there.

I already owned a DS, and seeing a trailer for Gundam Battle Royale got me to preorder the title and then purchase the PSP once I received the game.

 New systems are for experiencing the new generation and what that means for the company. Like the wii for example I for one wanted to experience the new idea of motion controls and if they improved since the power glove. The wii U was for rexperincing nintendos best franchises not dumbed down for handhelds while craping.

 Hell yeah! For me It would be to begin a new chapter in video game history, but they would come second to sony and nintendo and possibly even microsoft. Would buy maybe a year after launch.
3. Why didn't you buy Ouya?

 Poorly marketed no idea it even existed for a while.

The Sony Gods would have damned my soul if I didn't buy the first PS. My salvation after this life with the masters matters to me more than anything. I only bought the Xbox so I could make fun of it.

Its easy PS1 was better priced and had the games people wanted why pay more to get the same or even less ?

The Xbox didnt do so hot and most people bought it for Halo/Fable/Online/graphics you wouldnt get this on the other consoles so why go for an established brand that sells something else tha what you really want...

My mum bought a ps1 for me

I bought a ps2 because I could keep playing my ps1 games

I bought an xbox because Ninja Gaiden was too good to pass up

I bought a ps3 because it could play my ps2 games (at the time)

I bought a ps4 because....? Killzone : SF? Hype? Seriously not sure why I took the plunge now...

1. What made you buy a completely new system and not one of the old/known already established ones?

My parents chose Playstation as my first console, which was kind of surprising, since I typically gravitated towards Sega games. Maybe they didn't know.

I got the Xbox for Halo. 

2. Would you do it again, buy a Samsung, Google, Apple, Amazon console instead of Nintendo, Sony or MS in the future?

It depends on the games.

3. Why didn't you buy Ouya?

Because there's nothing on the console that appeals to me.

Because I already had a 360 and was bored to death of this generation, 2011 - 2013 I pretty much quit gaming because of it. The new gen/games has reinvigorated my interest!!

2. Would you do it again, buy a Samsung, Google, Apple, Amazon console instead of Nintendo, Sony or MS in the future?

Probably not, Xbox offers everything I want, I like the OS, first party games, controller, service, friends are on there. I have no reason to go elsewhere. If any of those companies bought Mortal Kombat (warner), GTA or Burnout tho, I'd be forced to buy whatever system it was on.

3. Why didn't you buy Ouya?

I don't generally like cheap games, I'm an AAA whore.
