For alternatively developed, I'm repeating it once again. So how fakes are created in social media? Easy.

1) There's a group of Strelkov admirers on VK: http://vk.com/strelkov_info -- some info legit, some are rumors. Here's the post that have started it all from these people that talks about downed An-26 on July 17th:

2) Lifenews, Tymchuk and gazillion of other media, personalities etc. has reprinted blindly without further check.

3) After the turmoil guys from http://vk.com/strelkov_info has placed a disclaimer on the front page that provided info wasn't from Strelkov, but purely a speculation, google translate it (top post):

Is it affilated in some way to DPR or LPR? No. So it's not official.

Read the dislcaimer, downing "yet another An-26" -- this is what locals thought it was, that's what newsmakers reported, officials didn't say a word on that. And I repeat rebels have no means to down anything at 10km altitude.
