Mario Vs. Donkey Kong Wii U not going to see release to consumers

We finally have some definitive word on this project, but it might not be the news you want to hear. Nintendo's Damon Baker Mario Vs. Donkey Kong Wii U is not planned as an actual game release, but instead, just a tech demo for the Web Framework service.

Looks nice. I don't really like the gameplay of these that much though.

Upcoming Nintendo Direct then?

PC Specs: CPU: 7800X3D || GPU: Strix 4090 || RAM: 32GB DDR5 6000 || Main SSD: WD 2TB SN850

Might just be a tech demo for developers that wish to use Nintendos framework,

I should learn to read the description :

"The demo is not confirmed to be a full game."

but why does Nintendo waste their time then ? -.-

Possibly as a proof of concept of their Web Framework development thingie? The assets would be pretty easy to port over.

I need to get into this series, in any event. Hopefully Nintendo will bring the GBA original to WiiU or 3DS.

Looks too awesome and polished not to be a game for consumers at some point. Reminds me of Toki Tori or Krusty's Fun House. I'll take it at the right price.
