Because babies. Obviously heterosexuality is beneficial for babies. A majority homosexual population will have problems with making babies. Simple stuff.

O/T: Ask God why it's the norm. Although I would imagine it'd be quite hard to keep a species thriving in a society where the majority of people weren't interested in taking part in the activity that allows for reproduction

Meh, maybe it will become the norm for a subconscious effort from humans to keep population in check. Or we will just keep getting more technology.

Don't put words on my mouth, i didn't say all straight people are lying.

I don't remember who came up with the statistic but imagine that 100% gay and 100% straight are on the oposite edges of a line, these are the minority of people. most people go in between, ranging from having a slight atraction to the same gender, to being completely bisexual (midle of the line). the problem is that most people that aren't on the edges of this line simply deny any form of atraction they feel for the same gender and it ends up looking like the majority of people are straight.

Because me, like most people imo, is straight and dislike gays. Im not homophobic or wish harm against them, its just like they live their lives and i live mine. Having a gay friend would be really weird.
