Titan is everything Killzone isnt

Ok so titan is not 1080p 60fps of pure beauty

GOT IT.

Turns out Killzone 6 is neither of those things :(

Yet still superior to Titanfall in both aspects :(

Titanfalls not out yet.

And if you're basing it on the beta, hell the Titanfall beta pushed more of those delicious pixels that PS4 enthusiasts have been raving about than Killzone 6 does.

And if we're still judging from beta, Killzone 6 loses terribly in the one aspect that really matters: fun :(

Gonna bow out of this thread now, talking about Killzone is boring. BTW did the OP edit the thread title? lol

Nah, what I mean is that resolution and FPS are both superior to Titanfall, even with the multiplayer news. I mean, are you seriously going to argue that Titanfall is technically even comparable to Killzone?

Oh, also 6v6 and 12v12

And fun is subjective, so you cant really bring that up

Why the Hell are you guys comparing the two games in term of graphics. Some of the best games of last generation were on Wii and the Graphic were outragously bad compared to PS360.

Activision made a gem of a game and pushed FPS genre forward when they release Modern Warfare games. Call of Duty was stuck in WWII FPS mode before that time and the genre was getting stale. Now we've fallen in the same partern and gamers are tired of the same with Black Ops, COD: Ghost & Halo 3/4.

It's time to switch up the formula and make FPS games exciting again... I'm not saying that Titan Fall is re-writing the FPS genre but it's at least different then what i've been playing before and as me excited to play a FPS game again. I coulnd't care less if it's 720P, 920P, 1080P or 4k graphic as long a the game run in 60 F/S and his a blast to play.

I could even agree with you res statments, but not the first part.

TF is doing nothing different, its same old shooter mechanics.  Maybe 4/5 hours into it was not enough for seeing all this supposed new stuff to get excited about.  The jet packs to me dont change the fact its just another shooter at all, and the titans are just shooting on a bigger scale which has been done before.  Maybe im not enough a fps aficionado to actually see what the hype is all about.

Lol. The things the internet argue about.

C'mon though...we all know KZ was a flop.

Is it ironic to anyone else that PS4 is the only 8th gen home console that DOESN'T have a 1080p 60fps exclusive retail game? Since apparently that's supposed to be what "next gen" is all about.

Titan Fall is learning from everything that was done before in FPS games and giving you a refined experience based on what was learned.

1. The single player mode, COD for exmaple has 5-8 hours single player but in the end most players rather just play the Multiplayer. Titan Fall focus only on a multiplayer experience and no time was spent in development for a single player mode.

2. We've all played 4 vs 4; 6 vs 6; 8 vs 8 multiplayer FPS shooter before ..... which was the most fun? In the end the best games online IMO are the games where you have two balanced team and everything kills could mean the difference at the end. The more number of players you have longer it take to start the game and balancing become a greater issues and people tend to drop out early in a match once the game get out of end. I think this is why TF as focus on 6 vs 6 balancing will be much better and every match will be more compelling because of it.

3. Titan vs Pilot.... it give the game more variety then simple soldier vs soldier but at the same time it doesn't have the same learning curve needed to play a game like Battlefield that offer so much option to the gamers. TF is limited in what different option of vehicle you can use but this limitation allow the developper to perfect the balancing between Titan vs Pilot.

4. This is the team that brough us Modern Warfare when everyone was still making WWII shooters, I can't wait to see the final product.

You know, Titanfall might be the very first "Next-Gen" game I buy...

...on PC.

60" TV vs 27" monitor...... Computer chair VS Lazy Boy...... I'll take the living room experience over PC gaming.

1440p resolution with a solid 60 frame per second, rock solid performance and the use of mouse + keyboard.

Each to his own! For me no FPS can be considered 'great' when played with a controller, the expirience just is as satisfying.

Both are games I'm not interested in, especially after playing Titanfall.
