So with the recent announcement of Nintendo shutting down the Online for DS/Wii games pretty soon, I though I'd play some DS/Wii games Online for old time's sake, man, I've gotten a pretty huge wave of Nostalgia from the games, Mario Kart DS was the first game i played Online on, and it's crazy that I'm not going to be able to play Online on it for much longer, but it's probably for the best I guess (on a sidenote, Metroid Prime Hunters' Online is still awesome!)

anyways, I thought I'd reach out to the Vgchartz Nintendo community and organize a few tournaments for several DS/Wii games while we still can, whether this comes along or not of course depends on how many people would like to participate, so if you'd like to participate in any of the following, don't hesitate to post your FC, and I'll add your Name and FC:

Mario Kart Wii

Pokemon Gen 4 - Diamond, Pearl, Platinum, HeartGold, SoulSilver

I was actually thinking of posting a thread to do tournaments for all consoles. VGChartz pro scrub tournament.

Why not rename the thread and have a large thread of competitive games and what players are best on what games by breakdown of wins and losses against other players.

I'm up for some Mario Kart Wii, it's been so long since I played it that I probably suck a lot now lol.

I'm also up for some Smash if the lag isn't horrible, I think I played 1 online match since that game came out...never again!

You know what? that's a great idea. though i think we should first finish the whole DS/Wii thing. I'll do just that after.
