Forums - Nintendo Discussion - How to improve the Virtual Console

I'd subscribe but it would likely kill my childhood memories.

How about original box arts, print ads, videos, and a digital Nes where you had to sometimes blow to get the games to work. A museam to all things classic Nintendo--from the Nes to the 'Cube. And each game comes with a digital issue of Nintendo Power.

You'd never get all the games from past Nintendo systems, just because of licensing difficulties, but they could probably work out a Netflix-like system with a large chunk of publishers. I don't think it'll be particularly practical or profitable though. I'd prefer that they simply start actually releasing games for the platform. I'm one of the bigger proponents of the VC, and I've largely washed my hands of it because of the glacial pace of releases.

This is the main issue, Nintendo really has botched much of the VC. Especially in the Wii U's case. They can't keep a trickle of releases, that takes forever. They must tie the 3DS and Wii U eShops/VC's so the Wii U will have all the games on the 3DS (eShop/VC, to be exact) while also releasing way more games monthly.

4 games per week. thats all it needs. 1 ubergame 2 smaller games and 1 crazy game. they have enough games for years...
