Forums - Gaming Discussion - Have Nintendo fans turned Ms fans?

I have noted a lot of ms fans saying graphics don't matter and gameplay is king. Some ridiculized Wii and WiiU even more for weak hardware and low res games and mocked ps3 for uggly ports.

Are ms fans of now old ninty fans? Or have they studied the same excuse books? It must hurt, using The wrong shoe for the next 5+ years.

duduspace11 "Well, since we are estimating costs, Pokemon Red/Blue did cost Nintendo about $50m to make back in 1996"

Mr Puggsly: "Hehe, I said good profit. You said big profit. Frankly, not losing money is what I meant by good. Don't get hung up on semantics"

Judging by current sales, it looks like most MS fans have switched to PS4 :p

RIP Dad 25/11/51 - 13/12/13. You will be missed but never forgotten.

I think the Sony fans are really showing their hand. The assumption that people can only afford one console? Just because you chose the cheapest one because it's all you could afford and it turned out to be the fastest too doesn't mean OTHER people can't afford all three AND a nice gaming PC.

But I'm glad your paper route money didn't go to waste.

I don't think so?

Graphics do matter, they're just not the most important thing.

Then again I think I've always been a bit forgiving for someone who likes nice graphics, Left 4 Dead 1 is still acceptable to me.

Hell even counterstrike is acceptable to me.

Just goes to show why indies are the most important thing this gen.

There are certain arguments that people really do not feel strongly about so they cater their views to fit a predisposed taste. If two companies flipped every generation who had more powerful tech the old "gameplay v. graphics" debate would swing back and forth.

Graphics matter to a certain degree, in the case of the Wii (and maybe the Wii U) it actually caused them to miss out on so many 3rd party games last gen.

Hm... something is just off between Xbox and me. I never thought once about the Original Xbox, the 360 and I also don't take the Xbox One into consideration.

First and foremost I'm a Nintendo fan and Sony enthusiast. IF both of these options fell flat I'd go PC only.

What does this mean? No, I don't think hardcore Nintendo fans turn into MS fans

You know how it is. They were playing the opposite game 2 generations ago.
