Forums - Sony Discussion - Sony's confirmed it has no plans for a PS4/Vita bundle. "We want to retain the beauty of what makes Vita Vita."

"We don't want to waste PS4 stock by bundling it with something that doesn't sell" is how it sounds to me. As a Vita owner there a few good games to play, but the sales really speak for themselves. Besides, it would be a pretty expensive bundle, and I think Sony would be better off doing what others have mentioned and just gave customers a discount on a Vita by purchasing a PS4.

They might as well make a bundle with the PS4, Vita, and 1 year PS Plus to try and boost the Vita's sales cause nothing else will,

it's the only platform that can play Gravity Rush, Tearaway and Pers-oh wait that's a port, Batma-oh wait that's a port too, um... i got nothing.

I don't think you should mark your post as a joke when it's true.  The Vita has 20 retail exclusives out right now in the west, and unless you keep track of the system, it's hard to  name titles that aren't ports.  Most people who own the Vita when making lists of the best games list ports first and there might be a few games that aren't ports.

well i marked it as that because the last time i made a similar remark, one guy replied with a list of Vita exclusives :P

(can't forget the other time i was banned for that)

I'm sorry, but as a Vita owner, I'm getting sick of their wishy-washy bullshit. Instead of either shelving it or going all out to support it, it's being left adrift in this weird, irrelevant limbo. They can say whatever they want, but they've shown themselves more than willing to leave the device on life support in practice.

This.  I've defended the Vita, even going so far as to make a comparison thread pointing out how even though most are ports, the library of games at the time was better than the 3DS, but I'm no longer interested in defending a system the company itself doesn't support.

Well, I know I argued with you that the Vita was better at one point in time, and at the time it was.  If you were to base each game as a game and not a port.  I'm sure you remember(in reference to the reply above this one.)  I no longer think that because people want to buy a system with quality titles they can't play on another system.  They don't want to buy a system with nothing but ports.

PS4 and vita.tv bundle makes more sense imo.

What ? why ? Price wise I might agree with you, but the bundle may not be interesting, being able to play PS4 games on the go or on a handheld screen is more advantageous than playing them on a second TV because the first one isn't available etc. especially with the release of PSNOW.

i have to disagree with yout there, if vita tv launched i would be waiting in line for it here in the states, its like having a second ps4 in the house, i cant tell you how many times my wife has forced me to turn off the ps4 so she can watch something stupid on tv, like dancing with the stars.  i have to unplug my ps4 and move it to the computer room when she does this, having the vita tv stops that and stops me from wanting to buy a second ps4.  Same ideo goes for my sister and my nephews she doesnt let them play games in thier bedroom, so when they want to play a game she either tells them no, or she gives in and ends up watching them play a game or goes to her bedroom.  i know quite a few people who the vita tv would be perfect for.

IIRC aren't there streaming devices or whatever that stream the signal from one TV to another for like 50$?

Well.  I'll argue with you now that the 3DS is better if you want.  I'm j/k :P.
