Would that ballsy dev for some reason not use the PS4 cloud?

Eh kinda off topic but I wouldn't want to make a thread about it. I "do" things with Sony. Not to long ago a dev was checking if Sony had plans to implement a cloud of their own. The response was more or less "why would you want that"? With Microsoft's cloud, devs have to use Microsoft's cloud. This guarantees a good price but restricts them. With Sony devs are free to contract outside parties and use whatever cloud tech they want. They can even use the XBOX cloud. Implementing cloud features might take a bit more time and money on PS4, but there are a lot more possibilities. If a XBONE port is using the cloud, so will the PS4 port. Only reason that wouldn't happen is if the PS4 was so strong it could run the cloud compute operations locally without a hit to performance.
