You don't think Nintendo's starting to design a new handheld? It's not like they would plan on releasing next year; this would obviously be a work in progress and would take a considerable amount of time.

I'm tired, so excuse my stupidity.

I'm sure Nintendo is already developing both their next handheld and console. The process of bringing a new piece of hardware to the market takes years of planning, research, prototyping and design. This seems rather obvious to me. I would be surprised if MS and Sony are not already doing so either.
