But 3DS hardware sales have no impact on Vita software sales. If companies make money on Vita (which they have confirmed they do) 3DS is just as irrelevant as the XB1 and Wii U are.

However, XB1 isn't DOOOOOOOMED and Wii U "will be fine". But Vita should be dumped immediately ;)

This comparison is like apples to oranges. Yes they both play video games but then why not compare Apple iPhones to Vita? I use the iPhone to play games as well as many people do and I think it costs > $600 and sold more in a week than Vita's lifetime.

It's always fun to cherry pick and take your wins wherever you can get them, especially in a region where all three of them sold poorly. But I think the more unfortunate situation for Vita is that by this time next year, in all likeliness, the Wii U and XBox One are both going to pass the Vita's total sales worldwide. Especially when you look at the Wii U nearly selling double that of the Vita worldwide last week.

But I do notice that these forums love cherry picking wins for Sony, and yet I haven't seen a thread pointing out what we all know, the 3DS slaughtered the competition last week. But I noticed both Sony win threads are started by Pezus... so... yup...

You forgot that this doesen´t matter because the PlayStation Vita is competing with the Nintendo 3DS, and the Nintendo 3DS sales are much higher than the PlayStatin Vita sales ;) You can´t compare a Handheld with a Console because these are different markets ;)
