Damn. Something tells me the game is still in early development phrase. It might not get released in 2014.

 

 

 

The Order: 1886 Isn’t Likely To Appear at VGX 2013

Rumors on the appearance of The Order: 1886 first gameplay video at VGX Awards 2013 have been floating around in the last weeks, but Ready at Dawn‘s Andrea Pessino, one of the founders of the company, hints that it might not be the case.

Answering to a YouTube user, he said that he doesn’t think any gameplay will be shown during the event (scheduled for December 7), although ultimately the decisions regarding marketing materials are up to Sony. However, he promised that “more detailed info” regarding The Order: 1886 is coming “soon enough”.

 

 

 

Are you hyped for Ready at Dawn’s first effort in the home console market?

damn :/ but you know what, this means that there is a possibility of them showing another game. dont get me wrong im SO hyped for this game. i think my prediction of this releasing between may-july will be false

btw they been working on this game since the end of 2010 since they released GoW: ghost of spara on the PSP. in no way is it early in development.

Disappointing, but I'd rather not see something halfassed.
2014 will be good enough without this., if it gets delayed. They can take their time to make a better game.

no big. sony only has soo much time alloted to them as this isn't a sony event. if the order isn't there it probably (hopefully) means they have something better to talk about right now. U4 probably gets a new trailer. another new game announcement. it's all good.

Well, they already showed some behind-closed-doors gameplay to journalists a few months ago IIRC, so it's not like they don't have gameplay to show. Plus as BK said, they've been working on this game for ~3 years, so they clearly must be pretty far along in development. Just because they can show gameplay doesn't necessarily mean it would be a good business decision. They may want to save it for a later event, or put the focus for VGX on something else. Sony knows what's in the pipeline and I'm sure they have a good idea of how to space out their announcements/reveals.
