I have a US XB 360 slim here in France and I had to swap power brick for it  the US one was 110V only and the european 220V-240V only... your XB 360 slim power brick was universal (110-240 ???) and you are saying the XB one is not any more ????

yeah I have a 3000 Watts converter here but that beast makes some noise... and since the XBO is reported to be quietter than the slim I was hopping to buypass it without buying extra components lol....

see that's why I'm glad the power brick is external if it's not international :D

now I just need someone to take out a ruller or something a and measure the box in shipped in :D

yeah the reason I go that route is because games are like 35 to 40% cheaper that way... 60 USD Vs 95 USD that was already a bargain when I was shipping game discs but now that DD is available at launch it makes it even better... and I have netflix, hulu+ watch all my movies in english on XB video or amazon prime etc... those are not available in france.... 

but I think it should work since it does with the 360... worst case scenario I'll have to either keep the 360 hooked up or use it through the PC...

Really not sure I see any point of Consol over PC's since Kinect, Wii and other alternative ways to play have been abandoned.

so yeah same shit than the US 360 the power input is 110V-120V which means it doesn't work out of the box.... good thing I bought a massive belking power surge guard US power bar to go with convertor on my last trip to the US :D

well now I need a bundle with 2 pads and a charger kit with 2 batteries and nothing else unless they are codes for downloading the games... I don't want any disc this gen.... I wish they did a version without a BR player.... but I guess if I want them to push kinect I have to accept that they push that last century tech too (disc based storage) :)))))

I thought it wasn't what you were hoping for - not needed a converter for your country.  But at least now you know.

I'm looking for disk free deals too. So far, I haven't found any for the Xbox One.  If you see some, let me know.
