As you see, there's quite a few of us I know of one more guy, but he hasn't been active recently.

The numbers come directly from SCEP when it comes to PS3, you can google them, but they haven't released anything since the 500k mark 1.5 year ago. When it comes to Wii U it comes from Gfk Polonia - the only company that analyses the sales of computer games in Poland.

I think it's hard to imagine anything doing worse than Wii U. Just the marketing campaign should be enough to sell over 1k And there probably is some kinda of a MS fanbase out there. It's gonna be obliterated by PS4, but unless Nintendo finally finds Poland on the map, XO can win this fight. And what a cripple fight it's gonna be!!

I see it's even worse than in Poland. August 10th, in Poland the magical date is 3rd of September :)

To my knowledge Nintendo is currently preparing "Nintendo of Poland", given all the talk about finding new markets and stuff this does seem like a plausible move. Though to be honest so far I havn't seen too much marketing for any of next gen consoles, which is soooo different to England where the whole subway metro underground corridor is slapped with PS4 and call of duty.
And given the state of the economy, Wii U might win at "price-aware parents"; I just checked the prices, Wii U stands at ~ 1300 PLN, while XBone is at 2600 PLN (both bundles include a game). That's quite a difference.
Still, anything may happen. Especially that stuff like FIFA is so popular in Poland, which is usually found on 360 here.

They better do. If you want to see some PS marketing, go to any store Every electronics store is filled with PS4 stuff, you can play PS4s, there are ads on TV. And let's not forget about the mandatory PS ads during football games. The console is sold out till the end of the year, XO is nowhere is sight, Wii U is a joke, so it's not like it really need ads right now It is competing only with PS3. In the UK Sony lost to MS this gen, so no wonder they are fighting

1300 PLN won't cut it for price-aware parents. It has to go down to 800-900 PLN. They will just buy a PS3 instead, you know why? Not only is it Playstation (a brand they know), but... they won't even see the Wii U with their own eyes, as it's not available in any stores. You can't buy something that isn't being sold.

And let's not forget. Football and FIFA = Playstation in Poland. No Xbox ads or exclusive content will change that

Just came back from the stores. Not a trace of PS4 in all but one of them! This one store still has two PS4s to sell, BUT!! These are consoles re-purchased from clients and they are sold for 600 Euro.

Hence, so far so good for Sony. People at Sony Centre said that this year they will only be able to deliver the pre-ordered consoles. So pretty much, they will sell whatever they can supply, which is always good for a company, especially in a coutry where they have no competition.

Looks like a lot of people did not get PS4 today...

Mine has arrived 2 hours ago - I bought it at gram.pl in the end of June. It came together with Killzone, Battlefield and CoD. I have enough of AC, so I will play some shooters while waiting for Infamous :)
