The PS4 sold about 1mio in one day, so I'd say that the One needs 2 days max to reach that number.

1 day as long as they ship enough. If not than as soon as they can ship 1 million.

This exactly.  However long it takes to have 1 million in the stores....

It is near the end of the end....

Huh? If they do 1m they will definitely annoucne it.... thats 25% more revenue than the PS4 will have managed.  It will be the biggest launch ever.  Even if they sell 800k its the biggest launch ever from a sales revenue perspective.

1m at $100 more would be a pretty incredible achievement, lets be honest about this.

800k x $499 = 1m x $399.

In terms os sales revenue the PS4 will be ahead because sold more games.

And yeap... 1m will be incredible.

You also believe PS4 will have a better attatch rate I see.

Mountains of crow is coming to the anti X1 people. Next week will be fun.

Stop it man!!! lol

So you think the ONE is moving more software? I think the trouble is that people here are looking at the VGC pre order charts... bit of a schoolboy error that one.

NPD will be very interesting thats for sure for everyone.  We might even get a sony press release for once.

November 2013 NPD will be the best one in 7 years lol!!!

Anyways, is Microsoft even ABLE to allocate 1 million units to the US? BenVTrigger was saying that Sony could have sold 2 more million units in the US if they had shipped enough. How can Microsoft ship even more than Sony when we know they began producing the console later than the PS4 went into production?

Even if they have produced as much as Sony has PS4's, seen as they launch globally, they can't ship everything to the US, right?

This litteraly will come down to shipments NOT demand.

I can tell you all MS has been slowly adding in more consoles for launch. Do I know exactly how many they are shipping? No. Do I know if its comparable to PS4? Yes.

Again Im not saying X1 launch will be bigger than PS4. It probably won't be but its going to be not far off either.

No it doesnt. If the X1 has a better attatch rate (it will) it can sell more games with less hardware.

At the end of the day i still believe Sony will sell the most hardware but anyone thinking the X1 isnt about to explode out the gates is in for a serious shock

Show me this magical attach rate that makes 200k more users useless lol

Example?

1M with 1.5 Attach Rate = 1500k software sold
800k with 1.8 Attach Rate = 1440k software sold

I'm using fictional number but you get that... unless you are saying PS4 have a 2 games attach rate and Xbone 3 games attach rate... unrealistic.

MS will sell how much Xbone they shipped... the issue is they couldn't ship 1 million units... they are close to what I said 600-700k units.

Quicker than the 360, which is all that matters as far as I am concerned.

lol that's a given man. Any numbers/time period?

quicker than 5 weeks. :p

and why is it a given?  people keep telling me that the ONE wont beat the 360 here... thats its marketshare will drop in the US quite dramatically.

Because they easily have close to 1 million pre-orders in the US alone. Considering JUST call of duty is close to 500,000

If that were to happen, it would mean the biggest November for the gaming industry, right?

Console launches really ARE exciting!

Well I have a date now so I'm going...

I will go back to this thread in the next days or when MS/NPD showed number It will be funny.

PS. No. MS didn't have comparable shipped units to PS4... it is not bad thing... just Microsoft started the production later.
