The PS4 finally launched in North America, and it had a definitely strong impact on the best sellers charts of the US side of the major retailer Amazon.

As you can see below, at the moment of this writing sixteen spots of the top 20 chart are occupied by PS4-related products, while the only Microsoft and Nintendo-related items that resist the onslaught are top hitters like Call of Duty: Ghosts and Madden 25 for 360, Pokémon Xfor 3DS and Just Dance 2014 for the Wii.

It’s also interesting to see that Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag is, for now, the best selling game for the console, following by Killzone: Shadow Fall, and beating the Call of Duty: Ghosts juggernaut.

We’ll have to see if the momentum will continue, but for now I included an animated GIF showing the chart below (give it time to load), for the posterity. Of course I’ll do the same when the Xbox One will launch.

I'm really impressed with the camera's rank. It's consistently been above the XBONE controller.

Why is Killzone so "cheap"?

Sure, but that's still great for the PS4 camera.

Everything is more expensive in Europe :(

I like pretty much everything I see. Being a busy academician, I will wait till the summer of the second generation games; by then hopefully most of the kinks will be ironed out, and possibly we'll see redesigned slimmer version of the machine. I will definitely stick with ps4 only this gen. I absolutely have no use for underpowered or overly media-centric Xbox with kinect. This way, my European Relatives will also not see me like an Alien from the other side of the World
