Super Mario Galaxy lost to Mass Effect? ....

To me, TLOU was the best story i've experienced in any media, in a long time. A great game to wrap up a great gen.

Nice to see Skyrim in until the end. I am actually still playing it.

Yeah I don't expect anything like Mario to fare too well in these anymore even though Mario Galaxy 1/2 are up there with the best games ever made, let alone just this gen. I feel LittleBigPlanet is cruelly absent too.

Donkey Kong and Rayman Origins losing out in the first round is just meh too! I'd actually say a lot of my favourite games this generation were knocked out round 1 or not featured at all haha.

Not played TLOU yet so can't comment on that. Can't wait to get it when it drops in price a bit though.

It's a shame I think it should have been higher! The Last of Us was really good! But I wouldn't put it as the best of this gen. I would put it high on the list though!

Too bad modern warfare didn't make it to the second round. The best multiplayer this gen, the only online game that I play for more than 2 years straight, playing through every prestige legally until the end.

Have you played Mass Effect? I can safely say the Mass Effect triology is more innovative and impressive than both galaxy games. I love Galaxy 1 and 2, but they don't compare to the Mass Effect games in my opinion as to what they brought new to the table.
