Lol! I'm laughing now, reading this reply and this thread (with many replies saying "wait for this game and wait for that game and then we'll see what happens") in 2016 and the Wii U has only sold 12 million consoles, almost 4 years after launch and is getting destroyed by Xbox One and PS4 despite a 1 year headstart. I never thought the Wii U would be a success. The Wii U will never even outsell the Gamecube. I think the Wii U is most likely the worst console ever made, it's selling at a loss, has almost zero third party support and has very few new franchises or console sellers, so that's obvious and there's many reasons for that, so I won't even explain further why. I think selling so few consoles was deserved, Nintendo never gave anyone a reason to buy their console and I'm not buying a Wii U just to play Zelda or Mario, only those 12 million people would do that. Becoming a third party publisher would be a much better solution for them, if they can't cater to the masses like their competitors do. |
Yep, what can I say 3 years ago I predicted that the Wii U would have done better than it has. The lack of support from Nintendo, horrible E3's
and the absense of a Zelda game have really hurt it.
