Forums - Sony Discussion - You can’t Resell PS4 Games Without Sony’s Express Authorization

I’m not exactly sure what’s going on, but it appears there is some type of authorization that goes on with reselling PS4 disc based games. More info below.

Further proof that PS4 also had DRM and that they were hypocrites all this time about it?!?!?

the wording in those sections has not changed for years.

So they lied and bluffed their way through E3?

There's really nothing to this, just lawyers getting their language in. This wording has been the same for years. Ever get a system with a pack-in game that says "Not for Resale"? Yeah, they're resold in GameStops.

This is one of those rules that has always been there and never enforced. Do you think every sports bar in America has "expressed written consent" to show sporting events?

Someone should tweet Shuhei Yoshida about it (@yosp) to get official word, but I'm sure this is nothing.

So rather then contribute to the meaning of this verbiage and realize the terms always stated this, an Xbox fan is the first reply in with DRM crap again. Oh yeah, here is it, an eye for an eye...
