Hey i love nintendo games too but would it kill them to make a console thats at leat 3x more powerful then consoles 7-8 years old, looking at the neogaf thread it seems the console missed a few ports cause of the weak hardware.

If specs and "graphics,graphics,graphics" are so important, then why don´t people just quit console gaming and go for PC once and for all? Nothing beats PC

FLOPS are not comparable. Architecture differences make straight comparisons meaningless, so you can't say Wii U < PS3/360. Wii U isn't powerful compared to today's expectations and possibilities. That's a fact. Does that mean it's not capable of outputting nice looking visuals? Of course not, and no one said it couldn't. Nintendo's art style and visual aesthetic lend itself well to weaker hardware as they can hide a lot of the technical flaws of the system. But just because their games look visually appealing also doesn't mean the system is somehow packing a much greater punch that it actually is. Accept what Wii U is and move on. Every system will be capable of delivering nice looking titles. It's just Wii U will be severely outclassed technically by the PS4/XBO and won't be able to do everything they can.

Considering Nintendo only have their eggs in one basket (i.e. video games) then yes it would kill them if the hardware did not sell well.

Wii U is already selling at a loss, so if u increase the hardware further the loss gets bigger, or price goes up.

Nah, 4850 is in a different leauge performance wise. The 4850 was stronger than my old DX11 5670HD, and yet that could run multiplats at high settings in 900p close to 60fps. All footage of Bayonetta and X point to 720p + AA, you can tell by the jaggies
