Please dont. New ip or nothing.

On a german page called www.play3.de there was a news right today about EPIC GAMES having a new IP launching in 2014. A new coop game, a trilogy, too. It is rumoured that if you play alone, the second character is controller by the intellegence of the console. Setting is said to be postapocalyptic.

Maybe PS4 exclusive?! Search for Project Nano/Blueprint.

As said before in a thread a few days ago it will likely be a multiplat new Ip.   Maybe Fortnite coming to consoles.  Maybe Unreal Tournament 4.  Most likely New Ip though.  I dont think EPIC will be going exclusive this gen though, for either MSFT or Sony. We already know they are focused on PC as well.

If Sony were to happen to get Gears games as well that would be great. It is a great game that everybody should be able to enjoy :)

PS4 dont need Gears.
Give us best TPS's (and games) of the market!
Give us Uncharted 4 and The Last of Us 2

I really don't want to see another Gears of War on either console. That franchise just won't be the same without Cliffy B and I've heard more than a few people say that they're worn out on it. Even a friend of mine who was a huge Gears fan said that after the third game he just wanted Epic to move on.

I feel the same. Even Judgment wasn't bad game (Not as a lot of people made it out to be, since it was enjoyable) but it showed franchise fatigue. Gears has run its course, had a beginning and had a closed ending. No need to further milk the outstanding series.

I don't mind a new IP that feels like a carbon copy (just like Gears looks and feels like Unreal Tournament), as long as they work a new story, a new setting and new characters.

No im saying I would rather see them make something other than Gears, whether its a PS4 exclusive or not. Gears isn't "Next Gen" enough for me, as it's tech is firmly rooted in this gen. Some games have enough room for progress for the scope of the particular game, what can they add to Gears tho? I also find that series Mythos highly uninteresting.

I would like to see it exclusive to Next Gen Consoles as a whole, no cross gen stuff. But if it is exclusive to only one of the NGC than that would be even better, as I firmly believe Exclusives always shine brightest as they attempt to fully utilize the expensive hardware.

Gears would be nice on the PS, but after seeing the Order my "desire" for it has waned. The Order looks like it will deliver on that front. Either way, Gears, or any new game from Epic, would be welcomed.

I understand that company's executives are still all gamers and probably play all systems. Hell, even Greenburg admitted last week to playing first party Sony games, but why even mention Gears of War on twitter when you know the world is watching and will jump on it. Hopefully, it's a tease to Gears on PS4 because I'm getting sick of companys trolling thier fans.
