There is no reason why this poll has options above 7 million, Wii U will not sell twice its LTD in 3 months .

I meant how many Wii Us will be sold LTD by the end of the year, not how many Wii Us will be sold exclusively within the next three months. Sorry if I made it confusing.

For instance, to hit 7 million, it would have to sell 3.5 million this holiday season. Not much of a stretch considering the 360 LTD sales were nearly doubled from September 2006 to the end of December 2006, and how ridiculously well Nintendo consoles sell during the holidays compared to the competition.

I don't think he was confused.

I agree with him though

I voted over 6 mil. When I do polls like this I put a really stupid option like "Under 4 million," because it acts like a magnet for all the poll trolls. The haters vote for the worst possible option no matter how unrealistic it is. As the poll is, it's hard to tell how many people actually think the Wii U will sell under 1.5 mil in the next 3 months and how many are just haters who are gonna hate.

You have a similar (yet opposite) effect taking place on the other end of the poll: 4 votes combined for 10-13 million, just as many votes for over 13 million. Those four people were going to vote for the best possible option no matter what it was. If you put 50 million, it would have 4 votes.

I think it will be 6-7m by the end of the year. Ya I know sales have been horrible so far this year but thats with a huge drought and Lego City/Pikmin as the biggest titles. The last 3 months of the year have 8 exclusives that belong to multimillion selling franchises along with the price cut, new bundles, advertising and holidays so sales should pick up by a solid amount.

It doesn't really matter either way, it's going to be hilarious looking back on this and seeing how badly people underestimated Nintendo for like the trillionth time.

Idk why he put 1m lol but Gamecube shipped 2-3.5m every holiday from 2001-2004, 2005 was the first year it shipped under 2m for the holiday quarter.
