The screen shots look just as good as the original trailer.

The pictures are off-screen... not direct feed.

The only thing that looks degraded from the shots appear to be clothes and ground texture and other than that the dragon sports similar geometry to the one shown in the trailer.

And to this day I still don't understand why people are calling it a last generation game.

So much for calling it deep downgrade when the drop off in quality was no where the second trailer maybe this is why Yoshinori Ono keeps laughing at us. 

It was their own fault - if you release such a video you have to live with negative feedback.

Not too sure about that considering that the video didn't specify it as a gameplay screen shot and instead it was just some overblurred pic if you were referring to the second trailer.
