Microsoft pull out ur check book and obtain the rights to this game.

Keep dreaming.  EA says where that game goes.

Keep dreaming if you think EA doesn't like Microsofts money

I am sure they do, but the profitability of selling it on both platforms is more than Microsoft probably shelled out for the timed exclusivity.

I was playing MGS4 yesterday (my first time) and when the Frog Unit (or anything like... the personal Liquid's unit) appears first time reminded me of Titanfall .

Yup. This is one of the major reasons I keep insisting Titanfall will be a system seller for XBO (also the fact that consumers are going crazy over it as well). It makes this task a little bit more difficult that Titanfall is releasing on 360 and PC, but, tbh, this game has been talked about so exclusively in relation to XBO that I nearly forgot it was releasing on 360. This is intentional. If MS continues to make it seem like the only place to play Titanfall is XBO, it will be a system seller - hands down.

Think about the fact that GeoW sold 6mill on 360 then think about the fact that this looks even bigger than Gears -- AND that its a game actually in the most popular genre (FPS).

I think this game has a lot of potential too. Footsoldiers along with mechs has been something gamers have wanted since the mechwarrior times.

“I could spill more words about the game’s visuals, but I want to talk about the real reason the game is going to blow you away. In short, it plays even better than it looks.”– Ben Kuchera, Penny Arcade Report

btw there's no telling whether or not EA has any big say in what happens with this franchise. They don't own Respawn, they don't own the IP. The game is part of the EA Partners Program.

Can you throw me a link to read where you got your info? I would love for MS to acquire this.

EA just funded the project and brought it to live. of course they the BIGGEST say in what happens with the project. whoever thinks Microsoft is ever publishing this game is just dreaming

EA does not control the IP's of most of the games in the Partners Program. Actually I can't think of a single one they do control, but there probably are some. They publish and/or distribute. The way this program works is EA funds a project in exchange for a return on their investment. Obviously, they are going to get more in return than they invested. Just like if you go get a loan for $10,000 you'll be paying more back than $10,000.

I posted what I did because the people saying "LOL ITS EA EA LOVES MONIES" don't understand apparently that the game is part of the Partners Program and EA has no real say in that. Now, it might have been Respawns intentions all along to bring it to all consoles. And MS could have simply gave them the sweetheart cloud deal in exchange for some exclusive time. But that has nothing to do with EA. If EA had an ounce of actual control over this franchise, it would require EA Origin logins on all consoles, and connect to EA's own servers. Not to mention Respawn themselves have said multiple times they control the IP.

Look at Kingdom's of Alumar. If a sequel came out to that game, EA has no rights to it or control over it. They have been on record last year as saying they'd "love to be a partner on it". But it's not guaranteed. Or look at Left 4 Dead. The first one was published by EA at retail. It never came to other consoles, stayed a 360 exclusive. The sequel was not even published by EA, only distributed, and it also remained only on MS's console.

In the end we have no idea what contractual rights and guarantees are going on with this game but we do have history to go on. The fact of the matter is it's just as likely that Respawn finds a new publisher or even self-publishes the sequel as it is that EA does it and the game goes multiplatform. There are strong rumors now that the PC release of Titanfall will be Origin exclusive. Do you know for a fact that EA did not dangle this out to Respawn in exchange for a portion or bulk or entirety of the cost of funding the game? No. But that is a strong possibility. It could very well be that the only way this first game in the series could even exist is for it to be Origin exclusive on PC and MS exclusive on consoles. Once the game is out and making money, then it can be an entirely different story for Respawn. But as for people thinking MS could ever publish it "just dreaming", no, it's actually not that bad a bet based on history.

If Microsoft pull out the money and lock this series to Microsoft only, like they did with gears of war then Sony will be in trouble. When this game is reviewed it has a chance of 98 meta. There has not be one single bad press for this game. From any reviewers.

this is a real killer app here. The real deal. Microsoft if you want to outsell Sony easily first year. Lock this game down and announce that fact. And its sequels. You have all these non shooters now and looks like the best shooter of the next gen in titanfall. Without even trying.

xbox one lineup is looking amazing. Funny how destiny is getting nothing like this. Poor bungie. Destiny i fear will flop in comparison to halo or titanfall.

did sony got in trouble with ps3 in the games department? why should sony be in trouble now because of this game that will release in 2 consoles and pc ? and this is probably time exclusive for 360 consoles, dont know why ps4 will be in trouble.

I said if they could lock it down. It would give Microsoft the first year in sales. I believe. Especially with the praise the games getting. Its higher than I remember GTA4 hype was. Look aat those review scores.

Even if they could lock it down. Which they can't, it's still available on 2 other platforms. Meaning it's not a system sell for x1. Most of the sales will go to 360. It wont matter if they are playing an inferior version of the game, they don't have to buy a new system for it, plus most newer pc should be able to handle the game. So another reason people don’t need to buy and x1 for the game. EA want's the next COD, and the only way to do that is to have it on everything, not just xbox. Unless MS want’s to pay them from every copy that could have sold on PlayStation, which even then i don't see MS doing so because it would insure they never make their money back. Just isn't worth it. MS needs to create their own IP and leave the 3rd party money hating alone. It doesn’t do any good. And clify B is the main reason the gear’s never went to ps3, he’s a big MS fanboy.
