Why was this thread locked and not this one?

The reason is simple. Though the WiiU has not even seen a year on the market, and hasn't even lived alongside its competition, it's already being asserted a failure in both concept and execution. Then proposing the same nonsense for the PS4, the thread gets locked.

The reason is not that the mods are at fault. The reason is that Sony fans deluge the forums, and when something is not to their liking, they report it till kingdom come.

Also, if Sony fans decide that something is a failure or not, that's what you read about on these forums.

You can report this all you want, let it sink in your brain that it's the truth.

Lol, we have had many cases of copy-cat threads in the past that have not been locked, and it was considered a fun game. That's not the answer.

Maybe because your thread would have caused quite the heated disscusion and the mods saw fit the lock of your thread.

I'm not a mod anymore and I didn't either report nor lock your thread, but yes, that's the answer, when I was we used to lock most copycat threads, if they don't get locked now it's because either the mods don't see it or it they are sufficiently distinct. Your thread was the EXACT same except changing the thread title because you got riled up with the other thread. I don't see why it's wrong for it be locked

So the thread suffers because people can't realize irony. That is then testament to the quality of the posters here.

That's not the answer either. Kantor explained that the concept was silly, and he was right. That's why he locked it, because it was so silly it made no sense and had no place in the hot topics.

It could be that. I don't know but personally I think you should have waited at least until the PS4 released for the thread! I mean the Wii U has a year in the market already! And it isn't a failure. In time it will create profit for Nintendo, I'm sure of it!

I don't see the point of this thread, if you think you know the reason and you think it was right to lock it, why the rant anyway? So that anyone can see you made a bad pun attempt and come and praise you?

oh happy a few things

1. The Wii U is already out and has been out for some time.

2. THe PS4 hasnt even released. How can someone even make a thread about it failing? They cant and its clear to anyone that it is just a response because someone was a little butthurt about a Wii U thread, thats kind of frowned upon
