Mine have lasted about 30 hours of gameplay so far. Quite a bit longer than the 360 controller's battery life, I got between 15-20 with it.

Wow that's closer than I thought. I just checked my two games Max and Peggle 2, 10 hours and 20 hours respecitvely. So they lasted ~30 hours of gameplay time plus probably a few extra hours of idle time in between apps, blu-ray, and standby.

Not bad.

I have a question for any of you who've played Forza 5. Just how much aliasing is there? I've been watching gameplay videos on Youtube and in some there is a ton of aliasing, in others there is very little. Which of these is the closest to what the game actually looks like:

Here is a worst-case example with a ton of aliasing: http://youtu.be/Pvh49ewkFwc?t=1m24s

Here is a moderate example: http://youtu.be/st6Sf3fu2jk?t=11m32s

And here is the best example I could find with very little aliasing: http://youtu.be/yCbLQ7hYGig?t=1m15s

yo-john, a mod here, has this game. You should ask him, or he could see this post. I have the game, but haven't played yet and am not familiar with those technical terms. I wouldn't be the best person to give you a credible answer.

Microsoft and Lionhead Working on New “Exciting and Ambitious” Cloud-Based Game, Possibly a MMORPG

by Giuseppe Nelva on December 11, 2013 5:25 PM

Microsoft Game Studios just published a new career opportunity ad looking for a Senior Services Engineer for Lionhead Studios based in Guildford, UK.

What’s most interesting about the post is that it gives some juicy details about a new game Lionhead is working or will work on in the near future. Below you can see an excerpt of the text with the most interesting parts bolded.

__________________________________________________________________________

Lionhead Studios is seeking an experienced and passionate Senior Services Engineer to join us as a key contributor on an exciting and ambitious new title.

The ideal candidate is someone who has proven experience in designing and implementing services for highly concurrent and highly available social online game experiences, ideally in a cloud based environment.

The role will focus on helping to deliver a robust online service infrastructure and associated services, ensuring that all systems are secure, optimized and will scale to meet the needs of our current and future ambitions.

[...]

- Experience of full development cycle for a complex service architecture
- C# programming and debugging skills utilising the latest .NET technologies
- RESTful service design and implementation in ASP .NET MVC4.0
- Cloud platform and data experience (Azure, Amazon EC2, etc.)
- Proactive, ambitious and enthusiastic
- Proven ability to lead and motivate others in a team environment
- Working in an Agile/SCRUM environment as part of a multidisciplinary team

Desirable
- Experience of Online/Multiplayer/MMO games
- Experience of SQL, NOSQL & Azure
- Experience of modern web programming languages such as Python, Ruby and Javascript
- Experience in monitoring tools and techniques on Microsoft platforms (such as SCOM)
__________________________________________________________________________

The details mentioned above definitely seem to describe some kind of massive online/social experience based on Microsoft’s cloud servers.

Could it be the long rumored Fable MMORPG? Of course no official announcement has been made so far, so this is just my personal speculation, but I can’t say it’s not intriguing.

It's me or games now don't add up the gamerscore of DLC if you haven't purchased it? Last time I checked, I had 400/400 on State of Decay, and then I purchased the DLC. Next day I look, I have 400/500!

Kinda awesome if this is the case!

Nope, I've not bought any Halo 4 DLC and it's XXX/2000

State of Decay is post-Halo 4, so your case is invalid :P

It's up to the developers I think to choose if the DLC adds the achievements whether or not you have purchased it

Well, Undead Labs is pretty cool then. Reminds me of From Software, which didn't even charge you with more gamerscore if you haven't purchased the DLC.

1000'ed Max :D

Great game, has it flaws, but the negatives reviewers gave were a little ridiculous IMO.

8.3/10 for me! Buy it if you haven't already!

I have the same with a few arcade titles. Noticed it a little while ago, I think it works with arcade titles only.

The feature would be nice for full retail games too.
