GOW:A deserves better. It is a decent game (for me). Combat is the best in the series and the MP is nice. Story was meh but it hit high notes in the other areas. I've replayed it more than GOW3 because of the combat. Very fun and engagin, and I didn't need a patch to destroy the trials, even on Titan. Can't say for Gears as I didn't play that one.

Didn't fiddle with Judgement's story mode much at all but the MP was great. Just wasn't enough. I think had they charged a more realistic price, like $30-40, they would have had a lot more sales. Expecting a lot of people to pay $60 for Gears when they knew it was from a "B tier" developer and was light on content... not a good move. Then again maybe 1.2 million or whatever was more than enough to recoup their money and make a profit, who knows.
