Love these threads. Typical "my God is better then your God" time of year.

unless a major fuck up MS is on track to gaining more speed with just about any business they are in in the near future.... especially if the new vision is actually as efficient IRL than on paper.... cause to be honest there is no company offering anything as complete and wide than MS they have solution for everything and of excellent quality at a decent price.... (talking mostly about business here)

they have the only commercial PC OS that works on almost any hardware with the biggest range of compatible software.... they have one of the most secure phone OS, they have a great office suite of software... they are big players in server and cloud technology, have great CRM and development solution and a growing search solution, the biggest VoIP solution, and they also have a rather complete entertainment offer.... on top they have long lasting strong partnership in every business related to software.... so yeah there isn't another company that can pretend to be as wide spread and relevant in that many business under one company in their sector....

a little more and they buy apple :P JK

BTW, this is about way more than the Xbox brand. It really has very little to with Sony or Sony fans as Sony/MS mainly compete on the console side.

Loll the climate is more calm the last couple days..... I did that comment when we had a tsunami of Sony fans in the MS forum...

But yeah it's not comparable.... but the Xbox brand is taking more and more place in the global vision of MS xb music and video are common to all platforms win8 is supposed to be unified in the future and the restructuration makes the xb brand an essential component of MS....

But you go straight into financials I can hardly see anybody really trash talk it... the market cap is at it's highest in 5+ years.... it's tracking 10% over the Nasdaq.....

We are a gamming forum so we look more about the Game Division results and the Xbox brand... the financial sistuation of the company or the numbers from others divisions are commented but in a superficial way.

This thread is in most os time paceful.

I'd like to know how much R&D was spent on the XB1 prior to It's launching and how much MS profits or losses off each XB1

But I guess we won't know that for awhile
