The news, part two:
ACROBATIC MINIMALIST PUZZLER N++ SET FOR STEAM LAUNCH NEXT WEEK
http://www.pcgamer.com/acrobatic-minimalist-puzzler-n-set-for-steam-launch-next-week/
Making good on its promise made earlier this year, the ultra fun/challenging puzzle platformer N++ is heading to PC next week.
For those unaware, the intuitive puzzler N began life as a PC game way back in 2004. In 2008, a more sophisticated version, named N+, made its way to Xbox 360 consoles, as well as the PSP and Nintendo DS, before the brilliantly realised N++ arrived as a PS4-exclusive last year.
NO MAN'S SKY CREATOR WALKS BACK "NO PAID DLC" STATEMENT
http://www.pcgamer.com/no-mans-sky-creator-walks-back-no-paid-dlc-statement/
You may have heard recently that all future updates to No Man's Sky will be absolutely free. “We do want to add a ton of features, like we've just discussed: Freighters, bases, these type of things. But we want to do it for free,” Hello Games boss Sean Murray told Red Bull last week. “You've paid for the game, so you should get this stuff without paying even more money. So no, there will be no paid DLC, just patches."
Yesterday, however, Murray walked back those remarks very slightly in an interview with the Daily Star. He told the site that he was “perhaps naive” when he ruled paid DLC out completely, adding that it could happen if “maybe in the future there’s some reason why we just couldn’t possibly afford to do a certain feature without charging for it.”
>>I have two things to say: 1-Red Bull has a magazine? 2-With the hate the game has had since launch, now is not the best time to say such things. don't you think?
NEW MOUNT & BLADE 2: BANNERLORD GAMEPLAY SURFACES IN "SIEGE DEFENSE" VIDEO
http://www.pcgamer.com/new-mount-blade-2-bannerlord-gameplay-surfaces-in-siege-defense-video/
We got our first look at Mount & Blade II: Bannerlord sieges at the PC Gaming Show in June, and it looked like the sort of fun that only hordes of angry, illterate men attacking a well-defended outpost with all manner of medieval weapons and machines can deliver. Now it's time to take a look at the action from the other side of the wall.
OVERWATCH PTR PATCH ROLLS OUT MAJOR CHANGES TO RANKING SYSTEM, NEW EMOTES
http://www.pcgamer.com/overwatch-ptr-patch-rolls-out-new-emotes-major-changes-to-ranking-system/
There's a new patch out for testing on the Overwatch public test realm today, and while not the most important change, the new sit and laugh emotes seem to have had the biggest effect on fans—namely D.Va's new 1,000-credit emote in which she plays a videogame while eating chips (D.Vas, but they're Doritos) and drinking soda (I'm going to call it Mountain Dew).

EA announced today that the upcoming Star Wars Battlefront expansion Death Star will add a new mode to the game called Battle Station that will let players do battle in deep space for the first time.
THE CREW IS GETTING A COPS VERSUS CRIMS EXPANSION THIS NOVEMBER
http://www.pcgamer.com/the-crew-is-getting-a-cops-versus-crims-expansion-this-november/
The Crew, Ubisoft's nation-spanning car MMO, is getting its second expansion this November in the form of Calling All Units. As the name implies, cops are involved, and so are baddies, and so are supercars, motorbikes and SUVs. As the name doesn't imply, you'll be able to be the baddies (ie, street racers) as well as the cops.
WATCH DOGS 2 PLAYERS WILL FIGHT EACH OTHER IN NEW BOUNTY HUNTER MODE
http://www.pcgamer.com/watch-dogs-2-players-will-fight-each-other-in-new-bounty-hunter-mode/
Because each player in Watch Dogs 2 is a member of the hacker group DedSec, it makes sense that they should get along, and that no violent shenanigans should occur between them. But that's not quite how it's going to pan out: in addition to a cooperative mode, Watch Dogs 2 will also feature a Bounty Hunter component, which sets real life hacker upon real life hacker.
NATURAL DISASTERS ARE COMING TO CITIES: SKYLINES
http://www.pcgamer.com/natural-disasters-are-coming-to-cities-skylines/
For me, one of the most enjoyable things about classic city-builder Simcity 2000 was raising a bustling town from scratch and then razing it to the ground by way of self-imposed natural disasters—a feature sorely missed from modern day genre champion Cities: Skylines. According to publisher Paradox Interactive, the latter is “the feature fans have been asking for since launch,” which is probably why the game’s latest expansion adds exactly that.
>>And with that, we can say that Cities: Skylines is the definitive SimCity game. Oh, and check the trailer in the article, it's fun.
