Still enjoying the Overwatch Beta here, though as soon as that ends I think I'll be jumping back into Diablo III to start the new season and get that Inna set for my Monk.

Was kinda interested in that Forza but then noticed Win 10/Win store.

I wonder what multiplayer only game Turtle Rock will be throwing out next, probably with a load of DLC.

We don't know if that idea came from them of from the publisher, Warner Bros.

ATLAS REACTOR DITCHES FREE-TO-PLAY, IS NOW A "PREMIUM DIGITAL GAME"

http://www.pcgamer.com/atlas-reactor-ditches-free-to-play-is-now-a-premium-digital-game/

The online tactical combat game Atlas Reactor was originally announced, in August 2015, as a free-to-play game, and so it remained through its open alpha and the first two weeks of closed beta testing. But today, Executive Producer Peter Ju announced that the plan has changed, and that Trion Worlds is taking the unusual step of changing it to a “buy-to-play” release.

HEROES OF THE STORM REVEALS A COMPLETELY REVAMPED RANKED SYSTEM

http://www.pcgamer.com/heroes-of-the-storm-reveals-two-new-heroes-and-a-completely-revamped-ranked-system/

Blizzard has been teasing something new for Heroes of the Storm for the last couple of days (a little of which leaked earlier, as our news team picked up on). Now it's official: The next hero to enter the nexus will be Chromie, a gnome dragon from the Warcraft universe, who will appear later this month followed by Medivh and a completely revamped ranked system in June. I got chance to play both of them at a preview event earlier this week, and they’re some of the trickiest heroes yet.

MEDIVH AND CHROMIE ARE THE NEXT HEROES OF THE STORM

http://www.pcgamer.com/medivh-and-chromie-are-the-next-heroes-of-the-storm/

Warcraft's Medivh and Chromie are the next heroes of the storm. How do I know this? Because someone at Blizzard forgot to make the announcement 'private' as it uploaded. Naturally Blizzard Watch and hawk-eyed Redditors snapped everything for posterity.

ACTIVISION CEO RESPONDS TO NEGATIVE CALL OF DUTY: INFINITE WARFARE RECEPTION

http://www.pcgamer.com/activision-ceo-responds-to-negative-call-of-duty-infinite-warfare-reception/

The Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare trailer is the most-disliked gaming video on YouTube, an accolade equivalent to being the most poop-spattered chimp at the zoo—it's not like the rest are clean. However, this community drubbing seems to have unsettled Activision's investors enough for Eric Hirshberg to look up from CEOing and make a statement.

Looking forward to PC e3 this year. Hope they have Day 9 hosting it again, if not someone else popular with PC gaming.

I think out of those listed partners I'd be interested in would be Cloud Imperium to see what's going on with Star Citizen. Not really interested in the rest, especially Wildcard since I know exactly what's going on with Ark, or what isn't I'd say.

Well, the game already asks a 970/290 (by the way, have any of you noticed how those two cards are the recommended specs for like 90% or the new releases?), so that setting will probably ask for a 980Ti/FuryX.

The question is if it will be worth it.

You should be more worried about this:

Even id can't beat DOOM's hardest singleplayer difficulty setting

http://www.bit-tech.net/news/gaming/2016/04/29/doomhardestdiffucltyishard/1

The first DOOM game in over a decade is just a few weeks away and the hype train has well and truly left the station. While Nightmare mode is a vintage DOOM staple which is clear and present in this latest release, one of the new features coming with DOOM 4 is an Ultra-Nightmare mode.

And according to Marty Stratton, Executive Producer, and Hugo Martin, Creative Director at Id Software during a recent interview with IGN, nobody in the office has made it through to the end.

I'm also looking forward it. Last year's "conference" was different from everything else, and despite what most said, I actually enjoyed it.

But I don't think AMD will come on stage this year to reveal their new cards. That would put them one month behind Nvidia.
