What I don't know is what HDR TV was AMD using, because that demo looks almost too good to be true.

Of course, if they were using an OLED TV then it would make sense.

Please excuse my bad English.

Currently gaming on a PC with an i5-4670k@stock (for now), 16Gb RAM 1600 MHz and a GTX 1070

Steam / Live / NNID : jonxiquet    Add me if you want, but I'm a single player gamer.

If you look close enough at the bottom of the screen it says "Sony" which is the manufacturer of that TV ...

It appears to be the X940C model ...

The one in the first vid yes (those speakers are revealing), but the one in the second vid is a different TV.

The second part of the video is from another manufacturer known as LG although I'm unsure of the model ...

HDR displays is the next big thing after HD displays IMO ...

Using more than one manufacturer for their demos show confidence in their product.

And I agree with you about HDR. 4K media (or even 8K of that other LG TV) is rare to find, but anyone can see the huge difference that an HDR TV brings, even at 1080p.

I don't know why I haven't asked this before but, now that the Steam Winter Sales are over, what did you get?

I only bought two games: Gat Out of Hell and Tomb Raider Reboot. It wasn't a great sale, tbh.

Also, while I started a bit slow with the sales badge (thanks again zero for that trade), at the end I managed to get up to level 3 badge, and even sold a few cards too! So it's been a weak Sales when it comes to games, but a great one when it comes to the badge.

Also, the comic. It started well, but I didn't like the end. It felt rushed and lacked proper conclusion. Valve should be able to make a better story than that.

And like most of you all I will only play a fraction of them.

And yet my Wishlist still has over 100 titles. And threads like this gives so many tips to add to that list. So many interesting games upcoming.

I try to avoid putting all those games on my wishlist because sooner or later you end up not knowing what's in it.

Thankfully now we can "follow" games on Steam, which is where I put the games I want to know more about but I'm not sure if I want them yet.
