Now you all can play some Sonic action on the PC!

I already did before, I backed Freedom Planet ^^

Speaking of backing, as a backer of Torment: Tides of Numenera I was not surprised at all that the game got delayed, it definetly needed some more work

How does he even get to the idea that PC gaming would die without consoles? Sorry, but I just don't get it

Neither do I. Without PC's we wouldn't even have consoles let alone games, the platform itself from wayyyyyyy back in the day had people making their own games on their own PC's and passing them around to one another, especially in the UK. PC gaming made it's own way and in turn made games for it's own platform and the rest. I just cannot fathom why someone would claim that PC's would die without consoles but consoles wouldn't die without PC's.

Whenevr I see statements like that I just assume it's either ignorance or someone who feels insecure so they need to ruffle some fathers in order to make themselves feel like they are ahead of the cruve. Like that guy you've seen during high school that likes to spout nonese in front of their peers to sound like they know a lot in order to fit in.

Dont bother - it'll be like talking to a wall - just ignore him lol

Its not worth arguing with someone who goes full frontal agressive on a platform they never even properly used to begin with. Let alone lacks the basic knowledge of the platform.

Anyways, so excited to get a PS4 soon - I'll have two controllers to use for PC gaming now ^_^.

That reminds me, as soon as I get paid next week I really need to grab a new 360 wired gamepad. I love the new X1 pads but want a wired one. Not really fond of the micro usb ones or completely wireless versions either.

Yep same here - the one I have a is a wired 360 controller.

Might get another one as well although the one I have is barely a year old.

I also have a wired 360 controller. It's great but it is starting to show some use, specially the left analog stick.

I'll have to replace it sooner rather than later.

Please excuse my bad English.

Currently gaming on a PC with an i5-4670k@stock (for now), 16Gb RAM 1600 MHz and a GTX 1070

Steam / Live / NNID : jonxiquet    Add me if you want, but I'm a single player gamer.

What are the first games you will play?

Topic: I can't really say for sure but maybe in the future I will build a awesome pc (but still would play on my ps) going to have to save some money, first^^

Can some of you who play with a ps4 and xbox one controller tell me the difference between them? can't really say much about the xbox one controller for just holding it in my hands for a few seconds in the media markt.

Yeah, I also love my wired 360 controllers... they are the best Windows gamepads IMHO: "it just works". Some older Windows games are problematic with the wireless xbox-controllers. I hate wired controllers when sitting on the couch (f. e. when the DualShock 4 has to charge and I don't want to stop playing), but it doesn't bother me at my PC desk.

Last year I bought a new black wired 360-controller and replaced the old white one (now all my gaming and home entertainment stuff is black)... the sticks of the new one are more snappy. But even if the white controller is more worn out after all these years... it is still a great controller for my Amazon TV or my Windows tablet: no driver or bluetooth hassle, it gets instantly recognized on different OS.

Yeah, the good thing about the 360 controller (and I suppose it's the same with the X1 controller) is that it just works without having to do anything.

Anyway, there aren't many news today and, besides Activision's insame amount of cash spend to buy King (check GribbleGrunger's thread to learn more), none of them are big.

UBISOFT’S FOR HONOR CLOSED ALPHA IS UNDERWAY – LOOKS INCREDIBLE, DOES NOT SUPPORT KEYBOARD+MOUSE

http://www.dsogaming.com/news/ubisofts-for-honor-closed-alpha-is-underway-looks-incredible-does-not-support-keyboardmouse/

It appears that the closed alpha testing for Ubisoft’s fast-paced visceral melee combat game, For Honor, is currently underway. And according to reports, the game’s closed alpha build does not support keyboard+mouse at all. Okay okay, this is a closed alpha build but it does feel weird that a game does not support – even in that early stage – the keyboard+mouse control scheme.
