I wouldn't say it is debunked yet.
Microsoft said that Halo 2 Anniversary wasn't a thing... And it still happened.

https://gamingbolt.com/halo-2-anniversary-not-happening

Halo 5 was a fairly average game anyway, so PC gamers aren't really missing out on much... But it would be awesome if they all got a Steam release.

Keep dreaming.

Halo Wars got a Steam release. Anything can happen. Haha

Yep, they're quite big.

But I still don't understand why they've gone with 3 different chips. Using the same one for both the 2080 & 2070 would make more sense as they could salvage more chips. I wonder if there will be some kind of shortages because of that.

They might be stockpiling them for later GPU releases.

And so did Alan Wake and Quantum Break, but I don't see any Gears of War or Forza.

Someone is working on a full fledged Metroid Prime fan remake for the PC via reverse engineering
https://www.dsogaming.com/news/someone-is-working-on-a-full-fledged-metroid-prime-fan-remake-for-the-pc-via-reverse-engineering/
YouTube’s ‘philstephes’ is currently working on a full fledged Metroid Prime remake for the PC. As we all know, Metroid Prime came out exclusively on the Nintendo GameCube and was never ported to any other platform apart from the Nintendo Wii. However, this may change as philstephes is building a proper PC version via reverse engineering.
Now I can guarantee you that Nintendo will take this project down. The fact that philstephes uses reverse engineering to build this fan free PC game is what will trigger Nintendo to send him a C&D letter. That and the fact that it will be a free game.
Philstephes has shared a video showing the current state of this Metroid Prime PC remake. While the game is still rough around the edges, it shows some of the implemented features such as morphball, platforms and cutscenes.

>>I would wish him good luck, but he needs a miracle.

This brilliant Dark Souls mod adds Link's likeness, audio and animations
https://www.pcgamer.com/this-brilliant-dark-souls-mod-adds-links-likeness-audio-and-animations/
The strapline above practically wrote itself, didn't it? After adding CJ from GTA San Andreas to Lordran earlier this week, Dark Souls modder Drop0ff has introduced Link from The Legend of Zelda series—complete with their character model, audio and animations.
Drop0ff this time partners with creator AinTunez to give us Hero of Twilight. As outlined on the project's Nexus Mod page, it replaces the Hard Leather Set "with Link's getup from Twilight Princess and adds Link's vocal shouts to player animations". This means you can play as the Zelda protagonist from the start of Dark Souls: Remastered.

There was the misguided MMO, Jagged Alliance Online, in 2012; the scaled back remake of Jagged Alliance 2, Jagged Alliance: Back in Action, also in 2012; and finally the Kickstarted Jagged Alliance: Flashback in 2013, which wasn’t very good either. Now there’s Jagged Alliance: Rage, developed by the same studio behind the MMO. It was announced last month and now there’s some gameplay footage to go along with it.

Yeah. Nintendo is going to shut it down... Plus not entirely sure it's necessary with the quality of Emulation these days.
Impressive though.

It's not the 19th yet.

If you demand respect or gratitude for your volunteer work, you're doing volunteering wrong.

Guys, this is a quick reminder that tomorrow will be the last day to grab this month's free games from HumbleBundle Trove. They're DRM free, they're not from Steam and you only need to sign in and download them to play: https://www.humblebundle.com/monthly/trove

Only the first 9 games are available, the rest aren't available for download unless you have a monthly subscription.

Besides that, and for those that can't wait until the 19th, Videocardz has managed to get Nvidia's Reviewer guide for the 2080 & 2080Ti cards, with official benchmarks.

**DISCLAIMER** Please note that these numbers come from Nvidia, not an independent reviewer, and all of them are at 4K.

Going by 2080 vs 1080, that's around 40% for more than 2 years between them...not exciting at all.

And they are sugar-picked benchmarks too.
