Ryse Son of Rome

Quantum Break, Project Spark, and Dead Rising 3 looked good too.

Ryse.

The gameplay looks simple but I love the ancient era.

I would have to say that I agree. While I do not like the extensive use of QTEs, I love Ancient Rome - anything about antiquity really. Hopefully it is a good game.

What eras specifically? Medieval times as well?

Yesterday I was watching an Assassin's Creed 4 Black Flag preview and while I'm not a fan of pirates, just the fact that it was set in a historical era made me a bit excited.

The Medieval ages especially. If people are being hung, drawn and quartered then I'm there. I just love the brutality and lack of tact in those times - great for literature such as movies and video games. The dialogue is often very engrossing as well. There’s nothing like old literature spoken in a British accent.

Yea, I concur. Not a fan of that per se, but since it is drenched in history I am interested. That was always the lure of the Assassin's Creed games for me. Modern games are less interesting to me – they seldom get my attention.  I think that’s why I am a huge fan of The Elder Scrolls, despite the bugs. A wonderful marriage between fantasy and antiquity

Yeah, the medieval times as it is portrayed in media is truly a magical era. It's like fantasy. The Roman times too.

That's why I think Ryse, even if it turns out to be weak on the gameplay front, probably will be worth to pick up at least from the bargain bin just for that historial experience.

I do enjoy historical settings.

I dont get how some people say quantum break without having seen actual gameplay, but oh well. ^^

Remedy. Nuff said.

Imagine not having GamePass on your console...

If I did plan to get one for launch, it'd definitely be Dead Rising 3.

Yea, I’ll likely acquire Ryse even if it receives less than stellar reviews. It looks brutal, and I liked the little touches such as the infantry forming a phalanx formation (or the Roman cohort rather).

I'm glad it is part of a trilogy in that sense.

Ryse, KI, Dead Rising 3, Crimson Dragon and Forza 5 all look like great games. Quantum break won't be a launch title otherwise that would be up there too.

Forza 5.

Im kind of surprised how many people are saying ryse in here. The game really looked meh to me...

For me, the x1 title that has me most excited is dead rising. I will also get titanfall and quantum break when those games are released!

Its Remedy. They are amazing devs. Aan Wake still is my 2nd faveourite experience in gaming this gen. So its ano briner it'll b good. Remedy are gaming legends. Max Payne 1 and 2 were so much better than 3. Although 3 was still pretty fun.

Sunset overdive :)
