So I don't know if many people who didn't want to get a Xbox One will change their opinion now, my theory being that most people that didn't want to won't change their opinion given the hypocrisy or signs.

But what about people who wanted to get people, whether they didn't care about being watch and giving up their property rights, but even more so those who supported the always-on, DRM and no-used games policies ?

Will you stick with Xbox One, if yes, why is that ?

I think those who actually ordered it don't really care much and the few who really wanted that drm stuff will still do it anyways.

Few people were like "OOOOOOOHHHH YEAH DRM BABY!!!" It was more like "meh, I don't care".

As for me as someone who wasn't planning on an XBox One, I might get one now. Launch lineup for the PS4 and One are too weak for me to throw down 4-500 for, but XBox One is slightly ahead now for me. I'll ride the fence till E3 2014 most likely.

I hope that the next versions of the Xbox One with a price cut will keep the same policies.

Or maybe that's part of their plan to only have such freedom for the first version of the Xbox One, then implement DRM (like for backward compatibility on X360/PS3).

And maybe PS4 might do the same.
