HD output. Not necessarily more advanced graphics, just higher resolution to reduce the jaggies and give a cleaner image on HDTVs. A built in upscaler might even do the trick.

Flash memory prices have been dropping like daisy cutters.  A year and a half ago, 4 GB of flash memory was more than twice as expensive as it is now.  Still, they sold the Wii for a decent profit, and I think they could have bitten the bullet on 4 GB of flash knowing that it would come down rapidly in price.

Totally agree.  If you ould trade friend codes in game, that would make a world of difference.

Add a network compatability layer to the VC to allow you to play multiplayer VC games (and maybe even GC games) over the internet.

More use of the memory in the wii remote (ie, save statistics and such for games like Smash Brothers for when you go to a friends house)

no they aren't

high def dvds are like 3% of the market...they sold 20k blu-ray in US 2 weeks ago after WB went blu-ray, but even those low numbers included free giveaways with hdtvs...

hdds and d/ling movies will eventually replace dvds, but that also won't happen fast

 in 5 years when wii is being phased out, dvds will still be the predominant medium...hardly outdated

Internal Storage is definitely needed and get rid of that stupid wire on the classic contoller (the wire should be on the front, it anoying on the back).
