Okay guys and gals of VGChartz. I need a Ni No Kuni expert.

Working on getting this trophy  Overfamiliar.

Here is the question..

I've been feeding my Draggle, and its at its maximum evolution stage and LV49. Its growth Limit is +30/30. I have almost 4/5 hearts. If I keep feeding it would it be a wasted effort?

Any food eaten will still count to its heart level. Unfortunately you do have to waste quite a lot to get it there.

No, keep feeding him, preferably with his favorite kind of food (the one that makes hearts appear over him after eating) and then finally he'll reach the 5th heart level and raise the cap to 50. It takes a lot of time so be patient and take him to every fight.

oh no, does this mean the heart level increases the max level?
because i just waited for the message "max level reached" to evolve them, to max out the potential, but i didn't put too much food into them, since this is seems like crazy farming.

did i just miss the perfect familars or am i still fine?

I think you have nothing to worry about.

If you are not trying to platinum the game, feeding familiars doesn't matter that much. A maxed Dinoceros is really all you need to win every battle with ease anyway :)

I'm about at the point where I have to just feed every battle. Finding better treats is tougher now in post-game.
