So Xbox One announced 15 exclusive titles at their conference in its first year on market.  I'm thinking this means November to November so all the big holiday releases will be out.

When examining this I am looking at WiiU a system people have labeled as "lacking software."  So it has, by my count so far, over 10 games already that could be considered exclusives (MH3 in a new version and such).  I don't think that sounds like a lot to be honest.  Now one big advantage both PS4 and One have to WiiU is the third party stuff to fill the gaps but still is 15 really that much?

Remember these can include Kinect, XBLA, and remakes (special versions that are only for that console)

too many exclusives lead them to fail tbh.  alot of games that didn't sell well was because because have to decide which game they want more.  think about it ps3 had a shit load of exclusive that didnt sell well.  it wasnt because they were bad games but mostly people being thrifty

this is true but also because of Sony's horrible marketing and COD and madden hogging an unfair number of sales for themselves EVERY year which hurts new IP especially

ok lets think about this

1) games usually sell like crap during the summer times because people use their money to travel

2 february & march is shit since people spent their money for christmas

3) sept & oct people are saving up for black friday  & christmas

so in reality there are only a few months that games usually do well.  it's not rocket science

so you have 15 exclusives / 7 months.

sony fans laughed at microsoft for having less exclusives but they sold better than sony's why?  if i only have 4 to buy it's easier to get all the exclusives.  more is always not better.

people may scoff at kinect games but in a way it can be a good thing.   a dance central can sell millions releasing the same month another hardcore game comes out.  same as a kinect sports.  since their are 2 different bases.

These numbers mean nothing if they don't get respectable metas.

Well, at least Forza 5 is 1 confirmed 90+ meta title. Turn 10 never disappoints.

man until they restructure metacritic from all the garbage fanboy reviewers i never pay attention to that bs.

metacritic has killed a lot of good games.  i dont know why people really pay attention to that stuff
