So with digital it will probably end up over 1.6m. Last week it sold 8k on dengeki so it's still moving units at retail. Ps4 is going to have at least 3 million sellers. More then the ps3.

If MHW sells quite a few consoles, it might have a positive effect on DQXI as people buy other titles on PS4 that interested them. Since the 3DS game is very different from the PS4 version it acts as an incentive for people to double dip.

All seem likely: 1500 points, 1 mil first week, and (at least close to) 2 million lifetime. It will be interesting to see whether it or Dragon Quest XI end up with the best PS4 Japanese sales. I suspect they'll have very close sales at the end of it all.

Assuming that is accurate, I can definitely see MHW end up closer to 2M.

Monster Hunter World really is killing it, I guess it's a sure thing that it will become the best selling PS4 game in Japan.

Well, Splat 2 hit 2 million on 3 1/2 million consoles, and PS4 should most certainly be above 10 mil lifetime

Ps4 will probably be over 8m though by the time monster Hunter world stops selling.

Yea but knowing Capcom they probably expect the game to sell like 8 millions lmao. The game had a much bigger budget than 3DS games so selling less units than these games would be a major disappointment I think. Let see how much it will sell in the rest of the world.
