My guess is that Yokai Watch 4 will be another drop compared to Yokai Watch 3, but then the franchise should remain stable.

So... let's just hope YW4 don't frop too much.

Yeah, this .5 version seems to already be underperforming considerably.  I expect 4 to be another marked drop.  And knowing Level 5's current thinking, their solution won't be "hey, let's slow things down," it will be, "oh crap, it's declining!  Let's double down on literally all the merchandise and make a spinoff so if nothing else we can squeeze all the money out of it before it crashes!"

is final fantasy even beating lightning returns at this point?

25 days left

LR 183pts

FFXV 319pts

LR had a terrible ratio though. It ended with 301pts as far as i can tell and sold 277k. So FFXV will always be above LR.

For comparison

25 days left

FFX/X2 remaster  130pts

Final points 261 pts

FW sales: 339k+

You can see that LR had no momentum and in fact had overinflated points, as it got outsold by a remaster that had less points only one month later.

A good outcome would be FFXV doubling its points like FFX/X2, but I do not see it happening with the recent state of COMG. So a good ratio is pretty much all we got.

Oh nice, then we can expect 500k+ for ff15 ltd. I was kinda worried, hopefully it has a good ratio

Level 5 really butchered yokai didn't they.

If your talking about the YW game on the charts, its not really important. Its just the same game getting re released with the downloaded content which players with yw3 get for free via update.

In other words in can do 50k/60k/100k whatever, its just added to regular sales

But, if I recall, they did the same thing with Yo-kai Watch 2.  It released in Japan in July 2014, and then they released a third version - Yokai Watch 2 Shinuchi - in December 2014, and that third version sold quite a lot, like 1.2 million opening week.

Now they released Yo-kai Watch 3 in July, and are releasing this third version game in December of the same year.

Awesome day for yakuza, strong weeks ahead for ps4;)

Wonder what the first week sales of ff xv will be, there's the ps4 luna edition too, and if we think ps4 games have a good ratio. World of ff wasn't even showing up in the charts and got first week sales of 50k, so i think 700 - 800k for ffxv are possible (with luna edition included)

The thing is games usually with pre orders higher than 100 have worse ratios than things under, especially games not showing up in the charts. If FFXV ends up somwhere near 450p (if it starts moving soon) it wont be close to a good ratio as people are hoping.

That said i expect a 1p:1.5k ratio at least so still very good (ratio wise)

So 700 - 800k (with ps4 bundle) is not so unrealistic, what at the moment in japan would be amazing, as japan has gone very mobile

The fact is... if FFXV hasn't been delayed from Sep 30, it would've lost to Lightning Returns and became Japan's laughing stock.

Excellent day for yakuza and good for Gundam and resident evil!

Another close 30 for Pokemon!

Pocky Lover Boy!

Man, what happened to yakuza, another day with 5 points, started there some sort of promotion?
