Some Vita comparisons:

  • Digimon Story: Cyber Sleuth - 18pts
  • Digimon World: Next Order - 29pts
Looks like it should do better as long as it's point:sale ratio does decrease a whole lot. Wonder if the fact that a lot of kids got a vita this holiday will help it's sales.
  • Hatsune Miku: Project Diva F 2nd - 19pts
  • Hatsune Miku: Project Diva X - 18pts
Doing okay but F 2nd had a PS3 sku as well. Plus I'm not sure if a mere 100k first week (like the Vita sku of F 2nd) is what Diva X should aim for.
  • Summon Night 5 (PSP) - 113pts
  • Summon Night 6 (PSV) - 25pts
Looks terrible but PSP games had god awful points: ratios (SN5 had a 1:383 which would be 2nd worst ever for Vita). Also this game is on PS4 so some sale are bound to go to that sku.
Speaking of bad ratios, even if Kancolle Kai matches the Vita worst ratio (that I know of) which is Infinite Stratos 2 at a 1:315, it would have a first week of 94,610. That's of course with it's current point total.

The Attack On Titan Season 2 is rumored to come out next month, so that could help the game. But it is just a rumor.

Setsuna is an indie title from a big publisher, but I'm kinda surprised that Attack on Titan going to bomb this hard. Were people scared by the earlier bad AoT games? Series fatigue?

I really dunno.  The anime isn't airing at the moment (that I know of) but I thought this thing was super-popular anyway so I don't see why that would hold it back.

I suggested that the previous games being of poor quality may hold this one back on GAF (lol) but got met with a barrage of "different developer different platforms" etc. so they thought that wasn't the reason either.

*shrug*.  Incidentally I just started watching the anime yesterday.

MOST Animes gets released at the start of each season

Winter:  Jan - March

Spring: April - June

Summer : July - Sept

Fall: Oct - Dec

Im guessing it would be Spring or Summer. Season 1 was released in April.

That would be a crazy ratio for Dragon Quest Builders.

But then again it would make sense since the game had many pre-order bonuses at different stores (Tsutaya, Yodobashi Camera, Amazon, etc.) and COMG didn't have any.

Mario tennis that good of an opening? Oh man... Dem japanese :p
