Well now both Sony and Nintendo can see some bigger profits for the year.

Sony needs it, even this year their profit was more of a false one.
I want to see some more 34.99 3DS games. If Animal Crossing can do that then so can some of the Mario games.

I miss the days when handheld games cost $29.99 and console games $49.99, 3DS should be $29.99-34.99, Vita-39.99, PS360/Wii U-49.99, Ps4/Infinity-$59.99

If you adjust them for inflaction are they now still the same or similar price?

Really not sure I see any point of Consol over PC's since Kinect, Wii and other alternative ways to play have been abandoned.

Top 50 'most fun' game list coming soon!

Tell me a funny joke!

Around the Network

This will be good for both Sony and Nintendo - this year anyway

Games can and should tell stories and share ideas through their mechanics. This is the intrinsic element of the medium and this is how experiences should be crafted in video games. No company does this as well as Nintendo and their echoes from the past.

Ya I guess its cuz I have so many other things to pay for these days that it just sucks paying so much for video games

When the herd loses its way, the shepard must kill the bull that leads them astray.

Given that the devaluation is being artificially stimulated by direct government intervention. Basically the Japanese government is engaging in currency manipulation. There is a strong possibility that other governments might actually respond in kind, or worse engage in protectionism of their own industries. Against what they perceive as another country engaging in unfair competition. If say Sony gets hit with tariffs in Europe. It could actually have a disastrous impact. Not just, because it makes their products more expensive, but would also make it seem untoward to buy products from a Japanese company.

We really need to wait to see how the world will respond.
