Ted Price is doing a Reddit AMA and he had this to say when asked about the next round of consoles from the big three:

Q: What are your thoughts on next gen consoles? The new one from MS, PS4 and WII-U?

Insomniac CEO: Wii-U is something I'd consider more current gen - but we're not working on games for it.

When it comes to PS4 I'm excited that they seem to lowering barriers for independent developers. It's cool to see almost weekly announcements from Sony explaining how they're opening things up for indies.

And of course I'm very excited to see what Microsoft announces soon.

Lets see... they are a Sony 2nd party game dev that has literally just now moved to multiplat with one game, Fuse. They are small and likely don't work on many games at a time, so yeah... their one game Fuse isn't coming as its a current gen game bought and paid already for PS360. Its not coming to other next-gen as well.

If they go full 3rd party, they'll start putting on all three systems as it simply costs too much not too.

I knew I should've put that in the title of my thread to get everyone's attention.

Bashing Nintendo will always bring clicks in, just look at JayWoods EA thread for an example of how it is done!

And you can always count on Superchunk to jump at it...
