project cars is confirmed wii u, but it doesn't release anywhere until 2014. So I removed it. My bad on that one.

I'll believe it. When I see it.

So, what do people play in the meantime?

I did read it and I don't see how that quote translates into "Loads of games coming this holiday for wii u". I saw that edit you made and if you expect Smash Bros, Zelda, Bayonetta, Mario Kart...etc all in 1 holiday, expect to be disappointed. There's no way all these games are coming at the same time. Nintendo wouldn't be that stupid.

1) ND from February said SMash/ MK and others would be PLAYABLE at E3. Many other games like Pikmin have been delayed like crazy. Who's to say resources were not shifted to get these biggers games out by holiday?

2) As for fitting the title of OP, last sentence in quote.

They said Mario Kart and 3D Mario would be playable at E3 but iirc Smash Bros was only said to be shown.  I'd have to go back and watch it again to confirm that, though.

The thing is, I seriously doubt that they'd release both Mario Kart and Smash during the same holiday.

I highly doubt they would release zelda, mario kart, project X, fire emblem, Beyonetta and smash bros all in the same quarter. Zero chance in fact, Nintendo are smarter then that, they will spread all of the announced titles from now to next summer.

Zelda and Wii Fit U will lead releases in september/october followed by Mario Kart U and Yoshi's yarn in November.

I think Beyonetta will come out in Q1, alongside Retro's project which will be announced at E3. Smash Bros and Project X in spring and summer. Fire Emblem cross will probably be a Q3 2014 release and Mario 3D will arrive in november.

Tomorrow there will be 15 VC games.

There are more than 10 eShop titles.

There are about 30 retail games.

There is another 15 or so with launch dates before Q4 as well (firsts and 3rd)

IDK, fucking masturbation?

I think you're right on that now that you mention it. But, its just a rumor that came out.

Personally, I was betting more on 3D Mario and MK this holiday.

After finding a HTML5 porn website the WiiU gamepad turned out to serve this purpose with ease. I recommend^^

So, you're assuming that people haven't already played those games (knowing that all games cannot possibly appeal to one person)?
