Idk gaming over here is pretty good. Lots of places to buy video games and we get games from every region

But I dont think vgchartz track us, since Japan only games are very popular and when a new japanese game gets release we dont get charted.

where you from?

Some developed countries just dont have the population, despite their tastes in gaming. 3rd world countries buy up whats cheap.

Xbox: Best hardware, Game Pass best value, best BC, more 1st party genres and multiplayer titles.

I was thinking about the 3 major for gaming... USA, Europe and Japan and i realized the total number of sales globally is very similar to the sum of the three region.

example

Weekly sales for April 6 for 3ds Console

USA = 56,340

Europe = 44, 241

Japan = 55, 221

Total of 3 region = 155,802

Global sales = 169,738

difference = 13,738

13,738.... including china, australia, canada, brazil, mexico, etc?

and im pretty sure the numbers are similar to other consoles and sofwre....

is it possible that the USA number includes the whole North America sales?

or the sales outside the three major region is just that bad? i doubt... since canada is a big market and china is suppose to grow too (i think)

Are you sure that is the US number and not the North America Number? It seems high. do you have a link to it? If its the North American number than it inlcudes the US, Canada, and Mexico

where did you get the numbers from? if it was from the front of vgchartz from the hardware sales chart, than its north america and includes canada and mexico (it says N. America on the page) if it was somewhere else we need a screen shot or a link to tell.

yea, based off that, sales in other countries suck.

You guys need to keep something in mind.

In some territories, the consoles are actually never released. Which means that whatever console you can purchase there, and you can, was first purchased in one of the territories where it was released.

So they are tracked, maybe, but in another market.

 I am pretty sure that a huge part of the consoles in my country actually counted for the US. If not all.

Is not USA, is North America!
