than sing the petition hepefully HTC and Sony start making high end devices that actually fit in your pocket

It's not my pocket... ah, you mean in size, not in money ;) I will keep my Desire S as long as it lasts! But I already spreaded the news!

Not really interested in high end phones myself. I'm happy with a mid spec'd phone with a mid ranged screen size.

What I can't get here is a phone with a slide out qwerty. That's a phone I want. My Milestone is aging but there's nothing to replace it with. I'd love to get the Photon, but no Telco here sells it.

That's not my experience with my wife's SII. It bloody freezes and randomly turns off quite a lot. The number of times I have to do the remove battery to re-set thing with my wife's SII has put me off any future Samsung phone purchases. But it also makes me wary of phones without a removable battery, so while the Xperia Z looks like pure awesome, I'm a bit put off by the no battery removal thing. I'd rather be able to remove the battery of a phone than be able to take a shower with it. Even though showering with a phone has all sorts of entertaining benefits.

You do realize Motorola will do just this right?

Google has already stated that the next Motorola phones will be sized better than the massive phones Sammy/HTC/LG have been creating and will be stock Android experiences like a Nexus phone.

Looks like Motorola will be my forever phones.

I'm more concerned with apple not making an xl version of thier iphone. I want to stick with Apple but I want a 5.5 inch screen.  I'm gonna leave Apple eventually if they don't accomodate.

You should just pick up a Galaxy Mega and be happy! It only has a 6.3" screen ;-p

Look at how small that Galaxy S4 looks with it's small 5" screen.
