It depends on if # of consoles sold is who wins. Wii sold the most Consoles. Does anyone actually think the Wii is the best of the 3?

Core gamers decide who wins.

So the guy who created 2 failed systems, one of them which got outsold by the vita already, is saying that the X720 will win next gen. He couldn't even support his own systems and barely knows anything about X720 yet he is saying it will dominate. Should we really listen to this guy?

If this is true, NIntendo could save this console race. Move manufacturing to Japan (assuming they in China atm) and market the Wii U in Japan "the only Japanese made next gen console" haha

They would lose even more money on making the console, knowing Nintendo they would freak out because they would need over 1 game sold on the system for it to be a profit.

It looks like he is basing his entire argument on the fact that the PS3 was hard to develop for.

Has he been living in a cave these past few months?

Gotta give him credit. At least he's breaking the mold somewhat and not predicting a Sony console to win.

Probably not.  Put it this way, Pachter knows more about the videogame industry today than Bushnell does at this point.  Bushnell is working on side projects now, and his own revamp education initiative.  He is a known name, but not quite an expert.  He does understand the amusement/arcade business though.

They said the same thing about the PS3 vs X360 (and were right) and its pretty darn close right now. Just strikes me as a bit odd ?

it's actually less since we know the least about it

 

saying Wii U will dominate seems to be the furthest from the truth since the sales aren't the greatest right now

 

if people on here stopped being mad at Sony for just a second they would realise that the PS4 is the actual 1 at the moment that looks as if it's going to dominate from what has been seen

 

but we have to wait and see
