I doubt there's anything to polish at this moment. Must have been for another reason, right? Don't know the new release date, don't know which games releases, but I bet it must be in order to release the game at a more favorable time.

You may be right.  I guess it's more to up the quality of the whole game a bit.  The polishing will start probably in a month or less.  They may have started some by now.
