lol I feel your pain but they only did it because it released on the Xbox 1st

Earlier this gen, M$ went to a lot of devs and got them to release their games either fully exclusive, 3 months earlier, 6 months earlier, or 12 months earlier than any other version(basically ps3) of that specific game. This part is just my speculations but i feel that after a while, Sony implemented some kind of system/rule that was basically like "If the PlayStation version is not able to be released on the same date as the other versions then it is only right that the PlayStation version shall receive exclusive content that can only be found on PlayStation. If not then we don't want it on our system". This is pretty much why all the JRPGs that released 1st on 360 ended up arriving on PS3 with exclusive content.

Enchanted Arms was released on 360 1st then came to ps3 with exclusive content

Eternal Sonata was released on 360 1st then came to ps3 with exclusive content

Star Ocean 4 was released on 360 1st then came to ps3 with exclusive content(this was by far the wackest exclusive content i've ever seen because they only really added Japanese voice acting in the PS3 version)

Tales Of Graces was released on Wii then came to ps3 with exclusive content

Ni No Kuni was released on 3ds then it was brought to PS3 totally revamped

this is also why i think The Last Remnant never came to ps3. Square didn't want to make that new content since the game was already technically bad on 360. So they just pretty much cancelled the PS3 version

I don't know about your theory, but The Last Remnant is not a valid example. The PC version was vastly superior to the 360's, and it added lots of things.

And anyway, even if they don't release a patch, why not localizing it?

well also usually the ps3 versions of everything always ran worse than the 360 version so you could imagine how much worse the PS3 port of The Last Remnat was compared to the 360 version. They just didn't want to fix and add extra content to the PS3 version. It had to be what it was because The Last Remnant was originally supposed to be released on PS3. That's the most logical reason i can think of for it not getting released on ps3

we'll never really know though so all we can do is speculate

Did more research and stuff.

So I'll get Vesperia and Xillia then. Graces F doesn't really appeal to me. I hate the character design.

I loved Tales Of Symphonia

I played Tales Of The Abyss but i think i'm the only person on this planet who didn't like it

I played Vesperia and i can tell that i would love it just as much as i loved Symphonia

Graces was cool

so right now i would tell you to go after Vesperia if you can find it

Is tales of Vesperia on the PS3 available in english?

not yet

There is an English patch being made for the PS3 version

http://talesofvesperia.net/

An offical patch of a fan one?

It is a fan made patch made by serious Tales fans who've supposedly got tired of not getting english versions of a lot of Tales Of games lol

How would I be able to download a fan made patch? CFW?

The individuals who are doing the patch that i've been waiting on are basically saying that they don't recommend anybody to mess with CFW at that they will have all the instructions on how to download it when it's released

you can see it all in their F.A.Q section which is in the link below

http://talesofvesperia.net/faq.php

here is another guy who is using a patch for the PS3 version of Tales Of Vesperia in which needs cfw. but i guess this patch only translates the menu's and other things in the game to make it easier to go through without having to look at a guide the whole time lol

I guess he wasn't having any of that "patience" bullsh!t XD XD

It's all in the description of this video

I played Symphonia and Abyss, both are great games. For me Symphonia was more fluid and better paced, but Abyss had a better story.

Abyss Symphonia (which you played) Vesperia and Xilia are the ones you should play. The rest is meh.

Symphonia 2 was more like a "Symphonia 1 was successful so lets hurry up and make a sequel for easy money! Lets also use the same world so we dont have to waste time in designing a new one etc" Game

well but at least they tried to mix it up with Pokemon
